Easter is almost here, which means this week is sure to include plenty of egg coloring, egg hiding and hunting, and last minute photo ops with the Easter Bunny.
On Staten Island’s North Shore, you don’t need to have a backyard to enjoy an Easter egg hunt. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy this spring tradition this upcoming week. Heading out to one of these events is a win-win for everyone: you get to enjoy the warm spring weather while watching your children and grandchildren search for brightly colored eggs, and you get an opportunity to spend a day out at Staten Island’s most scenic parks and recreational spaces, museums and libraries.
Below is a list of some of the Easter Egg Hunts and other Easter egg activities in Staten Island this week. Of course, you could always head out to one of Staten Island’s many parks and make your own Easter egg hunt—hiding those decorated orbs within trees, bushes, among flowers and beside rocks.
Either way, get your Easter baskets ready and enjoy this week!
