Snug Harbor contains many cultural attractions, including Snug Harbor Botanical Gardens, Staten Island Children’s Museum, Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art, The Noble Maritime Collection, Staten Island Museum, Art Lab, and Music Hall. The neighborhood also has a variety of restaurants and parks.  Richmond Terrace, the main thoroughfare along the Kill Van Kull waterfront, is home to several shipyards and tugboat companies, and makes for an easy commute to Staten Island’s central transportation hub in St. George.
