Abigail: Stapleton
Abigail reached out to Holly’s Staten Island Buzz Realty to help with the sale of her historic 1925 Colonial home on Staten Island’s North Shore in Stapleton. The home was overflowing with old-world charm, from original chestnut wood moldings and solid wood doors to exposed ceiling beams, French doors, and rich hardwood floors. We shared helpful tips to prepare the home for its best showing and used simple staging ideas, including our unique floral designs, to help buyers fall in love at first sight.
This is what the Happy Seller had to say about their Home Selling experience with Holly’s Staten Island Buzz Realty:
I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Holly. We moved out of state and listed our home in Staten Island with her just before the pandemic hit, and even with all the added challenges and the fact we were doing everything remotely (which wasn’t our original plan), she ensured the process was as smooth and painless as possible. Both my husband and I have experience in NYC real estate, and were extremely impressed with Holly’s knowledge of the Staten Island market. Everything she proposed, from the valuation to the staging and photos, was spot-on. I chose to work with Holly because I was so impressed by her local knowledge and personal touch. Holly provided us with exceptional service. She communicated proactively (with us, as well as all the other parties) and responded quickly to all our concerns. She also went above and beyond to help us navigate the process and deal with the few issues that did arise. The result she got us speaks for itself: Our house was on the market for less than a week and resulted in multiple offers above asking. I would recommend Holly to anyone looking to sell or purchase a home on Staten Island.
Welcome to the Staten Island Neighborhood of Stapleton
Situated along the northeastern waterfront of Staten Island, Stapleton stretches along Upper New York Bay and sits between Tompkinsville, Clifton, and Grymes Hill. Its waterfront setting and hillside streets give the neighborhood a distinctive North Shore character.
Established in the 1830s on land once owned by the Vanderbilt family, Stapleton is one of the Island’s oldest waterfront communities. The housing reflects that history, with Victorian-era standalone homes standing alongside newer condominiums and apartment buildings that continue to shape the area’s evolution.
Stapleton also has a creative and eclectic vibe. Colorful street art, winding roads, used bookstores, and neighborhood coffee shops add personality to everyday life. The dining scene is equally diverse, offering everything from a classic American diner to Sri Lankan, Mexican, and Italian cuisine.
